Guide to European Junior Circuit

Annually ESF holds Under 15 and 17 Team Championships and the under 19 Individual and Team Championships.

ESF also arrange the European Junior Circuit – a series of over 30 events across Europe for young squash players up to 18 years old.

2024 / 2025 Circuit

For events held between February 2024 and August 2024

Tenders should be submitted to the office between 1st December 2022 and 28th February 2023. The calendar will be reviewed by the Junior Committee during April 2023 and will be confirmed/published before the end May 2023, providing 9 – 13 months of planning time.

For events held between September 2024 and January 2025

Tenders should be submitted to the office between 1st September 2023 and 31st October 2023. The calendar will be reviewed by the Junior Committee during November 2023 and will be confirmed/published before the end November 2023, providing 9 – 13 months of planning time..

To apply to host a junior circuit event between 1 Sep 2024 and 31 January 2025, please complete this Tender Document and return to the ESF office.

Late applications may be considered however may not be approved.

The status of all tournaments are reviewed and agreed by the Junior Committee. Section 4 of the Junior Guidelines outlines the criteria for each status. If you are requesting an upgrade in status for your event, then please check the Guidelines and provide details to support your application.

2024/2025 JUNIOR CIRCUIT INVITATIONS

All Junior Circuit host invitations should be sent to the ESF Office for ESF to check and distribute at least 3-4 months before the start date of your tournament. 4-5 months ideally for Super Series events.

Junior Circuit Evaluations

The purpose of this online survey is to gather feedback to maintain and improve the standard of European Squash Federation Junior circuit tournaments.

This online survey is being conducted by the ESF office at European Squash Federation.

You are invited to participate in this onine survey because you recently attended a ESF Junior circuit tournament.

Your participation in this onine survey is voluntary. You may choose not to participate. If you decide to participate in this online survey, you may withdraw at any time. If you decide not to participate in this study or if you withdrawl from participating at any time, you will not be penalised.

The procedure involves filling an online survey that will take approximately 5 minutes. Your responses will be confidential and we do not collect identifying information such as your name, email address or IP address. The survey questions are general regarding your recent tournament experience.

We will do our best to keep your information confidential. All data is stored in a password protected electronic format. To help protect your confidentiality, the surveys will not contain information that will personally identify you. The results of this study will be used for feedback purposes only and may be shared with European Squash Federation Board Members, Committee Members, MNFs, hosts and organisers.

Code of Conduct

The ESF Code of Conduct is designed to safeguard the future well-being of Squash. The Code covers the respective involvement in all aspects of ESF Championships of MNFs, hosts, players, coaches managers, officials, spectators and administrators. The Code applies to all these categories and should be understood by all concerned with competitive squash. It also applies to both Juniors and Masters Circuits.

The ESF supports the Regulations of Squash, as published by the WSF. All Championships and competitions organised in Europe, under the auspices of or in conjunction with the ESF shall be played in accordance with the Regulations of Squash; and shall be subject to this Code of Conduct.

Rankings For Junior Circuit

The last Junior ranking publication before Covid was 9th March 2020 and remained closed until January 2022.

The Junior circuit is officially re started and the calculation period will be caught up depending on the number of events held.

Ranking points calculator

The ESF office will process Junior Circuit events rankings following completion of each tournament so that the results can be incorporated in the appropriate Ranking List.

Junior Circuit hosts should ensure Tournament Planner (TP) files are set up as per the Junior Guidelines appendix 6 – Software set up, as rankings will be automatically imported from this data folowing completion of the event.
