Registrations are now open for the first ever European Squash Cup U23 in Lisbon, Portugal (15-18 October 2026).
The European Squash Federation founded the European Squash Cup U23 to support players transitioning from the junior circuit to the professional tour — addressing a long-standing gap in the player development pathway.
The inaugural edition is open to European players who are over 19 on the tournament’s opening day (15 October) and under 23 on finals day (18 October).
In the week preceding the European Squash Cup U23 (9-11 October), a men’s and women’s PSA 3k tournament will take place in Albufeira, Algarve, as part of its European City of Sport 2026 celebrations.
The European Squash Cup U23 will be held at Lisbon’s Olaias Squash Club, one of the most iconic squash venues in Portugal. The tournament will award PSA ranking points and each draw will feature prize money of $2,000.
ESF Member National Federations may register a maximum of four players (3+1 reserve) per category provided they meet the eligibility criteria. Every nation applying is guaranteed one player in both men’s and women’s events. The host nation is guaranteed three players for both events. Only entries from ESF Member Nations will be accepted.

* Please note: While the official deadline for registration is 25 September 2026, the host can only guarantee accommodation for requests received by 31 August 2026. Please make your room reservations before this date, names to allocate the rooms are not necessary. Any submissions after this date will be handled on a best-efforts basis and are subject to availability.
