Each week over the summer on the ESF Coaching Hub we’ll introduce new game-based squash training drills that will help bring fresh ideas to coaching sessions.
The essential purpose of game-based training is to bend the sport’s traditional rules, constraints or equipment in order to make players think, adapt and find solutions.
You can read about the principles of game-based training in our intro to the series here.
Each week, we’re showcasing new examples of game-based training from a recent World Squash Level 3 coaching course in Guatemala that was led by Michael Khan, Director of the ESF Coaching Committee, and Renato Gallego, a Level 4 coach, World Squash tutor and member of the ESF Marketing and Communications committee.
